The Old Armory Events

For decades, the Historic Old Armory has been the venue of choice for community members and organizations. It is an integral part of the Williston landscape and offers an elegant experience for attendees. Events at the Old Armory include, but are not limited to: weddings, receptions, Quinceañeras, memorials, proms, Film Festivals, Fundraisers, Dinners, Lectures, Trade shows, Seed Swaps, Awards Ceremonies, and other community events.

Venue Highlights

The incredible Auditorium located in the upper level can accommodate up to 250 guests. With a stage and full sound system, the Auditorium is the perfect space for receptions, concerts, dances and large meetings.

The vintage inspired lower level of the Old Armory can accommodate up to 175 guests. With close proximity to the kitchen it is the perfect space for smaller gatherings.

FAQs

  • Building occupancy limits are to be followed. 250 Upper Level, 175 Lower Level

    Proper Special Event Permit must be obtained through the City of Williston for all events over 100 people. (Copy to be filed with Old Armory Office)

  • Only one rental will be scheduled per floor at any given time.

  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the OA without a liquor license/permit from the City of Williston.  This includes contracting with a licensed liquor vendor as required for permit.

    Alcohol Special Event Permit is required from the city for a bar on premises whether it is a cash bar or open bar.

    An Alcohol Private Group Permit along with a host insurance policy is required for any event where alcohol is being served within the building. The host must furnish the alcohol and the alcohol cannot be sold or purchased by the attendee.

    A copy must be filed with the City of Williston and OA office.

  • We do offer 6ft tables and chairs at no extra charge. We do not offer linens or decor.

  • Old Armory is a SMOKE FREE space. No lit candles are to be used.

  • Your rental time is 12 total hours. Additional rental time for early setup the evening before, or late tear-down the morning after is available for $100.
